Polish and Patina
CHEVY CHASE, MARYLAND
When our clients hired us for a second time to renovate a nearby Queen Anne Foursquare, we took a restorative yet fresh approach. Built in 1916 and updated in the 1980s, this home was filled with original charm and patina. We selected interior details and finishes that would maintain the house’s authenticity—like pine floors, traditional mouldings, classic tile, and timeless cabinetry— and cultivated a collected feel with fearless floral “granny” chintzes alongside linen ikats and block prints. The entire space is a reflection of what the owners love as opposed to what’s in.
