Lauren Liess’ deep understanding and appreciation of home can be traced all the way back to her childhood, spent split between Northern Virginia and the Chicago suburbs. For her, interior design felt more like a calling than a career choice, given her inherent ability to curate comfort and meaning. In 2008, Lauren Liess began documenting her client projects and inspiration online through her blog, Pure Style Home. Before long, she had garnered an online following of like-minded home enthusiasts drawn to her grounded take on aspirational interiors. In the time since, Lauren has established herself as an influential voice in the design industry and the founder of a globally-recognized firm that she runs alongside her husband, David. Her elevated, organic designs have been featured by countless publications as well as in her own best-selling books: Feels Like Home, Habitat, and Down To Earth. Lauren has launched her own e-commerce shop for home wares, Lauren Liess & Co., along with multiple product lines with major retailers. She and David host HGTV's Best House on the Block and recently founded Property Collective, a real estate brokerage in their native Northern Virginia. Lauren's design work is continually inspired by her own life at home with her husband, five children, three dogs, and a flock of chickens.
