New Roots

The architectural shell of this home was beautiful and distinctive in its own right, and so our goal became to fill it with color and emotion. We wanted to create an atmospheric vibe that would bring both comfort and inspiration to our clients. Because the project was a new build, we had to spend extra time cultivating a connection to nature and to the time and place of the home. We created depth with tone-on-tone patterns, blended hues, and time-worn finishes and fabrics. We started with a soft, romantic backdrop and layered in edgier pieces of furniture and our client’s own collection of art. As you meander through the home, it feels like an unfolding story—each room a discovery to be made. Featured in Home & Design Magazine and Log Cabin Living.
