A Family Farmhouse
Our clients had lived in their house for years with their five children, knowing that the square footage they needed was there but it wasn’t functioning at its highest potential. We looked for ways to square off awkwardly arranged rooms, create new functionality in unused spaces, establish new focal points, and cultivate an indoor-outdoor connection. Organization and storage solutions were a top priority as we reworked the floorplan and curated a collection of materials, tones, and finishes that would bring out the original character and story of this timeworn home. When the year-long renovation was complete, the house felt both more historic and authentic as well as more aligned with the needs of modern living.
